حكايتنا
A kitchen from Tunis, a counter on Edgware Road
Little Tunis started with one recipe book and a lot of homesickness. The brik pastry is folded by hand, the harissa is made in-house every week, and the couscous goes through the steamer three times because that is how it is done at home.
It is a small room. Blue railings, photographs of Sidi Bou Saïd and Carthage on the wall, ten tables. Come in for a coffee and a pastry at eleven, or sit down to a full couscous at two. Everything is cooked to order, so give us a few minutes.
The key on our sign is the key of the medina — the door is open, come in. باب الدار مفتوح
